SMS Architects proudly announces the opening of the Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas at Del Mar Heights Center in Del Mar, California. This theater marks the entry of Cinepolis into the United States.

Luxury Cinemas
SMS Architects is currently working on renovating four existing complexes in key locations in Southern California into Luxury Branded Multiplex Movie Theaters. These theaters shall include reserved seating, expanded food and beverage service and luxury lounge theater seating.

Shanghai Red's Restaurant Marina Del Rey
SMS Architects and Hatch Design have been awarded a complete re-design and renovation of the 11,000 SF Shanghai Red's Restaurant overlooking the Harbor.

New 18,000 SF Design/Build Restaurant
As part of the Bergman Companies Design/Build Team SMS Architects, ABA Design and R.W. Smith Co. were selected as the competition winners for a new high end restaurant at a major Southern California Theme Park. SMS will be the Architect of Record for the project.

10 Acre Mixed-Use Development
Planning entitlements are approved for the SMS designed mixed-use development along the I5 in Corona, CA. The project incorporates Retail, casual and fast food restaurants with a new four story hotel.

SMS Architects has been awarded the renovation of a multiplex movie theater at Del Mar Highlands, CA into Ultra Star Cinemas Premier Luxury Branded Theater. Construction is scheduled to start in January 2011.

The initial phase of the project includes a 415 Key Hotel, Casino, Spa and Wellness Center.
